Whats in the package
Puppy School Course Information - 4 Week Course
The price for this 4 week puppy school course is $137 total. If your puppy is young enough at the end of the course (under 16weeks still) you will be able to repeat it again for a small fee to continue socialization.
We also have Combo packages to assist you in home or once you have started Puppy school the trainer can do an in home visit for 1 hour for $137 to help you were it concerns you most.
For Puppies - Starting age must be less than 16 weeks of age
This is not your run of the mill puppy school – we are here to ensure the proper development of your puppy, not add on sell you or throw treats in with the puppies and call it socialization. The course has been designed on the feedback from clients unhappy with what is in the marketplace, there are now a number of other businesses that copy our formats and methods as we lead the way. The trainers are trained in Dog Behaviour and are in the field training dogs and dealing with behavioral issues with clients every day – not trained in a shop reading a book on learning it via an in store training system. We have seen too many clients disappointed with whats on offer or given incorrect even dangerous advice in stores. There are a maximum of only 6 puppies allowed in each class to ensure you and your dog learn what you need to, and we strongly encourage families to bring their kids to learn.
Puppy school is about the dogs learning how to play appropriately with dogs their own age not learning how to be ruff from older dogs. This is a controlled environment and show you how to do this. Resilience is the name of the game - we teach you how to get a puppy confident so when it is older it can realize they can cope with the human world not be a blithering mess afraid of different environments.
We have a lot of online videos to assist with your learning and information booklet to assist you.
Please note – these puppies are in the most formative part of their life – as such we never use any technique that is cruel, inhumane or harsh. The course is designed to use treats to MAP in their mind specific behaviors for later in life. Once they graduate and are old enough we don’t use treats to bribe our dogs to do basic commands and basic obedience. We use positive rewards not food and basic obedience teaches you how to do this.
Course Outline – Puppy School
Week 1
Puppies start this week – this is about practical application of what you are taught and learning how to do it. We cover Sit, Secrets of Mat training – this is where we show you how to do the exercise and you get to practice this in class with your dog. Puppy playtime while explaining behaviors and ensuring correct play for healthy development.
You also receive your puppy pack which includes Handouts and access to all the information via online videos you need to be successful.
Week 2
We cover Drop, Sit with a hand signal – this is where we show you how to do the exercise and you get to practice this in class with your dog. Puppy playtime while explaining behaviors and ensuring correct play for healthy development.
Week 3
We cover Drop with a hand signal, Stay with a hand signal, Come – this is where we show you how to do the exercise and you get to practice this in class with your dog. Puppy playtime while explaining behaviors and ensuring correct play for healthy development.
Week 4
We cover come and heel exercises to help. Review of exercises and Graduation
Small Dog and Large Puppy
Confidence Course Information

The Confidence and Enrichment Course Information - 3 Week Course
The price for this 3 week Small Dog and Large puppy under 6 months confidence school course is $137 total. Your Large Breed Puppy needs to be under 24 weeks of age at the start date to commence this course or it needs to be any age small breed dog and all dogs fully vaccinated. This would suit dogs or large breeds that just missed puppy school. Whilst not socialisation we can tailor it individually to help you.
You can do this at the same time as your puppy school with us.
The purpose of this course is to help expose your Pup or dog to as many unique challenges as possible to build their confidence in this critical early stage. If is designed around food and toys to teach you how to counter condition issues that may arise in the future while building their resilience.
We also add enrichment activities to help teach you how to give your pup a healthy all round mental stimulation.

Level 1 Obedience Course Information

Level 1 Group Obedience
For Dogs 16weeks and Older. This is a 3 Week Course.
The price for Level 1 Obedience is $167 for the total course. If you are a member you get to repeat for free. Otherwise after you complete the course you can pay per session $15 ($10 for members) to keep up the training and being around other dogs. The course also includes access to online learning and videos to assist you with remembering activities and also extra information pertaining to control in the home environment. This does not replace in home behavioural training. We also have Combo packages to cover In home issues as well as outside training.
All our Group Courses are designed to build either on each other or in conjunction with each other. This is about building a relationship with your dog. Unfortunately there are many out there who do not teach you how to do this. We provide these courses in an environment that can be distracting for the dog so they learn to trust you in all situations.
For any Level 1 Obedience course there must be at least 2 dogs in the class to go ahead or we will offer you an alternate solution.
Our Obedience courses are designed to let you achieve the results you want. There are also optional courses along the way you can do as well. We limit the class size to 6 dogs so that we can maximize your learning. Our Obedience instructors are trained out in the field with in home behavioral training so that they can recognize and assist you as practical as possible during class with behavioral issues not just the Obedience training. We never use methods that are harsh or cruel to train the dogs, nor do we use food but show you how to use yourself as the reward to achieve the results. We incorporate turns and weaving into all our classes and a variety of other exercises based on class capabilities.
Our Optional courses are developed for enhancing control and your relationship with your dog - they are not compulsory.

For Dogs who have completed Level 1. This is a 3 Week Course.
The Price is $167 which includes our online videos to assist. You are also able to do this in a Combo pack with home lessons. Once you have completed this you can the do the $15 ($10 for paid members) per class visit to maintain your abilities.

Week 1
Revision of Level 1 Obedience - Stop - Drop from the side with Hand Signal - Come from a Mat (Distance Recall) - Go to a mat at distance - Sit from the side with a Hand Signal (from Stand) - Sit from the side with a Hand Signal (from Drop) - Back on trust exercise.
Week 2
Stand from the side with a Hand Signal (from Sit) - Stand from the side with a Hand Signal (from Drop) - Heel Focus (following loose lead with turns and weaving all directions - Sit from Drop from in front with hand signal - Sit from Stand from in front with hand signal
Week 3
Stand from drop using hand signal (in front) - Stand from Sit using hand signal (in front) - Leave it - Drop from in front with hand signal
First Aid Level 1 and Graduation
If you require extra assistance this can all be done in home at a reduced cost

Class Content - Level 3 Group Obedience
Week 1
Revision of Level 2 Obedience - Eye Focus (learning verbal marker techniques to achieve eye contact - How to use YES command) - Drop from stand on the side with Hand Signal during forward motion - Right Command (Learning the opposite of heel for walking and changing sides effectively)
Week 2
Stand out of Motion (Done from all sides and differing distance also known as an implied stand stay completed whilst moving and not stopping still) - Sit out of Motion Stand out of Motion (Done from all sides and differing distance also known as an implied sit stay completed whilst moving and not stopping still) - Start of Level 1 and 2 commands from Opposite side of the dog to heel (Right)
Week 3
Drop out of Motion (Done from all sides and differing distance also known as an implied drop stay completed whilst moving and not stopping still) - Eye Focus part 2 (using the No Command to stop a behaviour and rewarding the return to the human)
Come from Stay at a distance - Heel and Right from a distance and all directions - Level 1 and 2 commands from the right or opposite to heel - Graduation

Group Reactive School Course Information
Whats in the package
Reactive Dog Group Training - This is designed for a dog that reacts toward other dogs in a manner that the owner finds hard to control or is scary or just plain cannot control their impulses to want to meet other dogs or people. With all of our training safety of dog and human is our priority. We also understand exposure under control is what is needed.
For most dog parents who have a reactive dog in the scary end of the scale, group training is a terrifying thought so we ensure their are multiple safety aspects to ensure safety of your dog and you and others. We have the groups capped at 6 per trainer. You can call our admin team and we can do an inhome visit first if you would prefer - otherwise this is an 8 week course that does our same in home reactive training but designed for a group setting.
This course is not just for dogs who make scarier choices - this course teaches you multiple impulse control techniques as well to teach your pup not to make poor choices like ripping their parents arm off to meet another dog or human.
You will get access to videos to assist your learning process out side of the class situation and homework to practice each week. You will get out of this what you put in.
We cover defensive handling - walking - Calming techniques - impulse control - disengagement - handlers ability - dog trust as part of this course

With Reactive Dog Training we do everything we can to assist you but ultimately it comes down to you the human to want to fix the situation. If you are not prepared to do as we ask you will not get the results we know you can. There is no magical pill - just hard work and dedication to your family member - the Dog. Extra assistance post training can be done thru our Club membership. This training is designed for any dog that acts in a way toward another dog that is inconsistent with expected norms. This includes at one end of the scale Labradors who just want to "Hug"everyone in the park which gets them into fights or pulls their humans over trying to love other humans - all the way up to the other end of the scale with dogs that have been attacked and are fear aggressive or have progressed through to outright attacking other dogs on the walk. We show you how to initially get control both with your leadership in the home and outside then work with you to change the behaviour of your dog so that it makes a better decision. This creates confidence in you and in your dog to be able to be out in public. This is not suitable for aggression toward humans that behaviour requires our aggression Pack. There is still a lot of work that is required by the human to teach your dog to make a better decision we help you to do that.
Group Scent Detection Course Information
Scent Detection Class
There are 2 different levels in these classes. Level 1 teaches you the basics of the reward system and how to use clicker training as a base to scent detection training. In level 1 we also teach how to detect the scent and how to teach the dog to mark the scent and indicate.
In Level 2 we show you how to vary the locations - how to use less odour and how to do it in an outdoor environment.
Both Levels are $197 for the 4 week class and are limited to 6 participants. To do Level 1 you dog must be able to do a sit and a drop - and if you have a reactive dog you will need to have done our reactive course and be able to be around other dogs. This course can also be done in our in home training packages.
Social Obedience
Once you have complete any of the Obedience Levels - (except for Reactive and Puppy) you are able to come back for $15 a single class ($10 for gold and platinum members). You can do as many as you want and can book thru the site. We do have limits of 4 in addition to the 6 new learning clients. This is so your dog can be in a safe environment practicing what you have learnt while being around other dogs - just like club obedience. To book this simply call admin and they will do it over the phone for you.
